Thank You

On October 3rd, Abraham Lincoln began his proclamation of an official day of thanksgiving…

“The year that is drawing towards its close has been filled with blessings of fruitful fields and healthful skies.  To these bounties, which are so constantly enjoyed that we are prone to forget the source from which they come, others have been added, which are of so extraordinary a nature that they cannot fail to penetrate and soften even the heart which is habitually insensible to the ever watchful providence of Almighty God.”

On November 22, two days before the 149th ‘official’ celebration of thanksgiving in the United States, I want to thank…you.

I want to thank you, as a safety, human performance, performance improvement professional, for…

  • Saving lives
  • Keeping people from getting hurt
  • Preventing physical and environmental catastrophe, and
  • Improving efficiency and profitability

It is an honor to be serving in a field which has as its objective to do so much good for so many.

Enjoy the holiday.  Enjoy your families.  And as you pause to be grateful for your many blessings, give thanks as well for your opportunity to be part of such noble pursuit.

In heartfelt gratitude,

As gratitude is the parent of all virtue, our largest sense of it comes when we freely give.

I am speaking from myself and not my company, but wanted to encourage you and thank you for turning eyes to God in reminding those who you influence of the real reason for Thanksgiving. May God bless you!

“Praise God from Whom all blessings flow,
Praise Him all creatures here below,
Praise Him above ye heavenly hosts,
Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost.”

Thank you for repeating Lincoln’s words of wisdom which don’t have to seem alien to us today.

    Thank You Tim,
For bringing this value driven process to the Nuclear Construction Industry.
Every member of the EPU project at Turkey Point passes through the PPI Human Performance class that I am fortunate to teach. I have trained over a thousand employees now and have a few thousand more to teach. I put my heart and soul into each class because I believe the process you developed will transform the culture of not just this workforce but the workforce of the industry. It transformed me.
I am proud to be associated with your process and to have been trained by you.
